I have known we all are equal. I have believed. Selfish wants including money,women,and power are what keep us down and cause many people to harm others. We must resist these selfish desires. We must resist oppression. "Woe to the downpressors, they heat the bread of sorrow."-Bob Marley. Another point, we must punish these ones who oppress, or accept one day they will be brought down by nature,naturally.

Recommendations

I think i should have asked a question for the interests of the majority,possibly a question about gay marriage or public housing. Regardless, its all the same fight. Its the fight for equality,for freedom without fear. We need to support the causes for Biracial people, Homosexuals, African Americans, Redheads, Women, Latinos, Asians, Muslims, and any people who have been put down by the man,unfortunately usually the white man.

Conclusion

I think that our school that is predominantly white and black doesn't really see this discrimination completely but i did get some results I liked. I am glad a majority (despite the neutrality) believed what I believed. With only 2 Latinos taking the survey, I thought this would be mostly disagree but it was not, possibly because this is a very liberal place that is very against discrimination and for equality.

In this survey, I stated "Mexicans are very oppressed in today's society." With the answers Strongly Agree,Agree,Neutral,Disagree, and Strongly Disagree. The gender makeup is 32 male,64 female. The race makeup is 40 black,40 white,2 asian,2 latino,7 mixed, and 5 other.

A relatively new report stated that latino immigrants face increasing discrimination against them across the southern united states. They face hostility when they fill low wage jobs. The report states that latinos are frequent victims of theft,workplace discrimination,sexual abuse,and violence. There's an assumption that all latinos are undocumented. Whether they are or not, no person should be arrested and jailed after asking for their well deserved money after working,no one should have their life savings confiscated from them by police at a regular traffic stop,and if a man rapes a 13 year old child who is undocumented he definitely shouldn't go unpunished. These are basic human born rights that are being broken.

research questions

For this project, my research question will be; what certain group of people are particularly being "picked" on these days?

We are all suppose to fit in, yet when we don't we feel worthless and are shunned. Aren't we all equal? Don't we all deserve the same? Maybe true equality doesn't exist. Maybe there is always something that has to pick up the lack something leaves behind. Maybe true equality is a communist's thought. Yet if this is true, why must we tear each other apart?
